Clip Camp Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Clip Camp (“we”, “us”) operates the Clip Camp learning and creator ecosystem, primarily for users in India. We use cookies and similar technologies on clip-camp.com and subdomains we operate under that domain. By using these properties, you acknowledge this policy.
When you use the Telegram Mini App, Telegram’s own policies apply to the Telegram client; your browser or in-app web view may still receive cookies from our clip-camp.com properties.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We may also use local storage, session storage, and service worker caches (for example for Web Push or PWA loading). In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies unless we say otherwise.
Why we use them
Cookies and similar storage help us operate Clip Camp: sessions, security, language or interface preferences, OAuth flows when you connect YouTube or Meta (Instagram/Facebook) accounts, and understanding how the Services are used. Some cookies are set by us; others may be set by partners such as Google or Meta when you use their login or tools on our domains.
Types of cookies
- Strictly necessary — login, security, OAuth state, load balancing, and core Mini App/PWA function. These are required for the Services to work.
- Functional — choices such as language or dismissed hints, where we use them.
- Other — analytics or third-party cookies only if and when we deploy them; we will update this policy before expanding non-essential tracking.
We do not store OAuth tokens in cookies; tokens are stored server-side in our analytics infrastructure.
How long they are stored
Cookies may be session-based or persistent until expiry or deletion via your browser. OAuth and security cookies are typically short-lived. Expiry varies by purpose.
India and other regions
- India — where cookies involve personal data, we process them in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and rules thereunder, as implemented by us from time to time.
- Other countries and territories — if you access Clip Camp from outside India, this policy still applies. We handle cookies in line with applicable local law where it applies to us; we do not represent that every foreign standard applies unless we explicitly enable features for that market.
For broader data practices, see our Privacy Policy on clip-camp.com.
How to control cookies
You may limit cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, OAuth linking, or PWA features from working.
You may delete or reject cookies through your browser’s settings (see your browser’s help documentation). Private or incognito mode may limit persistence of session cookies.
Google and Meta offer their own controls for cookies and account permissions on their services. See Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy at any time. The current version will be posted on clip-camp.com with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
